Susan

Founder, Susan Van Dyke, works with an inspired team who bring their talents to each project and every client. Susan started her legal management career in 1995. Having worked in-house for four different law firms, each in senior roles, she appreciates the demands placed upon lawyers and business services professionals in serving client needs. ​Since 2002 client needs have included demanding large-scale projects such as domestic and international law firm merger communications, marketing audits, small and massive websites, firm name changes and rebranding, media relations, lawyer recruitment, firm operations and more. Approximately half of Susan’s time is devoted to law firm strategic planning and implementation.

Susan is a regular speaker and author on a variety of legal management topics, and has served as a President of the Vancouver Chapter and Western Canada Region of the Legal Marketing Association and as a board member of the international board.

Colin

Colin Cameron provides strategic profit-focused advice based on over 35 years of executive management and consulting experience with law and professional service firms. He is a chartered accountant and former COO of a large regional Vancouver-based law firm. Colin advises law firms in these key areas related to profitability: profitability improvement, strategic planning, firm governance, partner compensation, financial management and operations management.

Colin founded Profits for Partners, Management Consulting Inc. in 2009 and is regularly consulted on a variety of law firm management topics across Canada.
